When a dress transports you to a favoured romantic era – for me, Virginia Woolf and the bohemian Bloomsbury set – you know you're onto something good. I was thrilled to be lent the new collection
h by Helen Bullock for Anthropologie to coincide with the launch this month. There are four dresses and there will be a post for each – with this one, the
Sweeping Maxi there is just so much going on with the fabulous silk; like being wrapped in a huge abstract canvas every twist and turn gives you a completely new aspect of colour and pattern. Really this dress doesn't need much to go with it, but I couldn't resist throwing on a 1920s art deco flapper necklace (knotted halfway) and my highest YSL vintage heels from
Bang Bang on Goodge Street (ok, the dress is a little long on me but never mind, right?). For more on
Helen Bullock and the collection illustrations, see
this earlier post.
Thankyou! I was so amazed by this capsule collection. Three more dresses to come and they are all gorgeous! xx
