What Is She Wearing?! Saturday Night With Annabelle Wallis Posted by Unknown |

Nothing beats an impromptu photo shoot on a Saturday night with gorgeous actress Annabelle Wallis. (You'll have seen her in The Tudors and Pam Am and keep an eye out for her in the new BBC2 drama Peaky Blinders with Cillian Murphy later this year). With an amazing wardrobe full of vintage, designer and highstreet, this girl knows how to put together an outfit and pull a pose. We spent the rest of the night nattering about music (can you believe my hubby's great grandmother played the trumpet for Annabelle's ancestor east London music hall star Marie Lloyd – crazy connections, right?) eating blue cheese, drinking red wine and weighing up whether Justin Timberlake's teaser video 'I'm Ready' is pure genius or just plain annoying. Thoughts? Hope you like the photos. We're planning a daylight shoot on a roof top next.

Teresa wears a white blouse from Cos (similar here), cardigan by H&M Trend (similar here), trousers by Yohji Yamamoto from eBay, patent leather Converse All Stars, a faux pearl necklace from a thrift store customised with an eBay cameo and rings bought in a boutique in Texas. A big fan of eBay, she also shops the high street where she seeks out bargains for £35 or less. An Education Curator at Iniva gallery during the week, the Mexican American Teresa runs her Mexican bakery Los Pastelitos in Bethnal Green at the weekend where she bakes and sells 'pan de dulce' pastries.

Phoebe, co-founder and editor of style and culture zine Pamflet, wears a cafe au lait (there's a better colour to describe this, isn't there? Beige, tan, sandstone? A really obvious one I can't think of right now) coat by Oasis (similar in navy here), wool jumper by Benetton, trousers by Jaeger Boutique (part of a suit), pink socks by Falke, brogues by Russell & Bromley, watch by Swatch and the amazing car clutch is actually a men's washbag by Paul Smith (excellent styling tip there!). Fashion blogger Toni Caroline Ogle of Fashion Your Seatbelts wears embellished shift dress by Fashion Union, Skye sparkle jumper by Boden, navy colour block bag by Next and lace-up shoes by Topshop. Very Alexa, don't you think? Like most fashion bloggers Toni's not so keen on smiling, but I think she looks absolutely stunning here - more smiling fashion bloggers please! The photograph was taken against a slightly shady wall on the night of the Boohoo blogger's Knitb4Xmas event outside the ICEBAR on my iPhone 4s (I actually had my DSLR with me for once but my refusal to use flash on my cameras is not proving great for night shots – hence the graininess on this one). Two gorgeous huskies are just out of shot.

I popped into Hackney's The Premises recording studios yesterday to take a couple of quick snaps of electro pop singer/songwriter Ronika who's taking part in the Bacardi Beginnings music project for up and coming artists (find out which Scottish DJ/producer is mentoring Ronika here!). She's wearing a vintage dress from Cow in Nottingham, jacket and leggings from River Island (similar here and here), Converse All Stars and earrings from a Nottingham carboot sale. A spontaneous iPhone shoot with a bit of a bleach-out filter to tie in with the cold white overcast day.

She wears a long-sleeved top from Eastbourne Lammas festival, t-shirt beneath from a charity shop in Surbiton, apron skirt made by a friend's brother, jeans from Gap, socks from Uniqlo and boots from New Look. The necklace, made from an old silver spoon, was a present, from Camden market.
