I was really sorry not to make the launch of the new home department at Liberty (4th floor, east Atrium, enter via the stationery department) this morning. Strolling around and snapping pictures of new homeware lines is pretty much my idea of heaven these days. However, all was not lost, as the lovely Liberty press office sent me these gorgeous shots of the new ranges. This teapot by Tea with Bea (above) is probably my favourite, followed closely by the Jersey Pottery Sardine Run bowels (immediately below). And an east London shout out goes to James Ward of Jimbobart (third photo) who has a studio and shop on Columbia Road, home to one of my favourite Sunday lunch pubs The Royal Oak and, of course, the Sunday flower market.
