As the temperature warms (finally! although we kept missing the moments of sun in these shots)...

thoughts flick ahead to spring and summer fun. One of my favourite perennial trends is metallics and it's back for 2013 not quite as a major trend but it wouldn't be right to label it just a micro one. Holographic metallics have been popping up on loads of fashion blogs lately and a two-tone silver and white shoe is the perfect slightly off-kilter match. This particular sweater, jeans and trench combo is one that I'm falling back on a lot at the moment (my one really good sweater, if you will) and the trench is perfect seasonal transitioning. I thought I'd ramp things up with a Space Odyssey 2001 metallic twist – hello, visitors from Mars – or that should be visitors to Mars really, futuristic humans to Mars... oh, never mind –  and go stand in front of a graffiti tag which is all over our east London marshes – aloha Don Draper! Yes, I gorged on new season Mad Men last night. Is it same old, same old bad boy Don or is there gonna be more to this season? And back to the clothes, will you be wearing metallics this spring? Photos by China.
